About Friends

Friends of the Elkins Public Library is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has the sole purpose of supporting the Elkins Public Library and its programs. They do this through members volunteering, fundraisers, and programs.

There are approximately 90 members on the roll and businesses are now allowed to be a member to show their support of the library. The membership levels have grown to include student, individual, family, and business.

The members are invited to attend all Friends board meetings, which double as organization meetings. Those meetings are announced on the Elkins Public Library Facebook page and in the EPL newsletter.
